No 41, July 1989 This is our first effort at producing four colour process in a newspaper that was always black (with the occasional spot colour). We didn't change to an A4 magazine until the following February. To get an understanding of the difficulties involved in those days just compare the leap from running a sales force without or with mobile phones. The major stories in this edition was another acquisition by BBC . . . this time Tremont Timber and Tretruss Frames. This brought the total to 12 Victorian businesses in less than two years. (See other snippets elsewhere in this Landmark edition.) Another article reported on moves to form an association to represent the interests of glue laminated manufacturers and importers. This organisation became known as the GLTAA.
