Timbertruss announced the news last week as a move that the company hopes will be the first step in becoming a national prefabrication specialist.
Commenting on the acquisition, a Timbertruss spokesperson said “The growth is widely celebrated throughout Timbertruss as a great reward for the efforts and commitment shown by our dedicated team members.
“It is a great source of pride to open our doors to valued clients with projects in the north of Australia, as well as servicing our new business partners and widely respected builders in Queensland.”
The current Northside Trusses & Frames site is located 7 km north of Brisbane’s CBD and is capable of handling large production demands. The site is ideal for Timbertruss to grow both now and in the future.
“We are proud to build on the foundation of Northside’s achievements and their exceptional reputation as a high-quality prefab supplier throughout the Queensland market,” added Timbertruss.
“Since its beginning in 1983, Northside has grown to become Queensland’s preferred prefab supplier, priding itself on quality, efficiency and reliability. Timbertruss and Northside will continue to build on this success,” the spokesperson concluded.
