Stirling Machinery partners with K&S Pallets to install the first Salvador Push Feed Saw in Australia.

Stirling Machinery has announced its appointment as the only official dealer of Italian manufacturer, Salvador machines across Australia, and New Zealand. Founded 35 years ago in Treviso, one of Europe’s key manufacturing centres, Salvador has a reputation as a leading brand in both the European and worldwide markets.

Stirling Machinery says this partnership with Salvador is based on a shared set of values, focused not only on bringing more value to customers’ operations and enabling them to deliver a superior product to the end user, but also on investing in the technological future of the timber industry and enabling efficiencies through the use of automation in machining processes.

“Stirling Machinery’s purpose is to bring new and better methods of wood machining to the Australian and New Zealand timber industries. Working with cutting-edge European suppliers like Salvador means we are able to bring the latest technology to our customers,” said Craig Honeyman, Stirling Machinery’s managing director.

The first Salvador machine, a Super Push 250 push feed saw has recently arrived in Australia and is being installed by the Stirling Machinery team at K&S Pallets in Victoria. This machine will be the first of its kind in Australia and New Zealand and is reflective of the new chapter in technological advancement our industry is currently experiencing.

The Stirling Machinery team will be supporting all aspects of the K&S Pallets installation including testing, safety systems and on-site machine operator training. Upgrading to this push feed saw will see several major improvements to operations at K&S Pallets, including maximising output, simplifying processes and subsidising labour.

The director of K&S Pallets, Victor Kyriakou, said, “We’re looking forward to working with Stirling Machinery on this installation, and to the benefits integrating this machine into our operation will bring.”
